Oh yes, very exciting, isn't it?

A whole new year.

And what did I do with the last one that made me deserve a whole new one?
I read.
I read 53 books in 361 days. I finished my last book PERCHERON BOOK THREE: GODDESS by Fiona McIntosh on December 29th.

Go me.

And what am I going to do with this whole new year I've been gifted with?
I will write, of course.
I intend to write as much as I can and attempt to get published ... before I leave the country at the end of November.

So, it's not a WHOLE year, then? No.

Yes. Leaving Australia, I am. To see the world. Well, most of Europe and the UK anyway.
I'm going with my partner and we'll be gone for about two years - we hope to be, anyway. We're saving as much as we can... and keeping our eyes and ears open for any offers of free or cheap places to stay. *hint to anyone who might be reading this : please be my friend?*

We're giving the saving thing a good go, we've got a nice little savings account saving it's little heart out. And hey, if I get published, won't that be a bonus?

So yeah, there's my life plan .. or about 3 years of it anyway. After that.. who knows? Presumably I will come home, think 'wasn't that fun' and make a huge scrap book that I will insist on showing everyone I know and telling everyone I don't know how great everything that isn't here is.
Yes, that made sense.
